The goal of the present learning situation is to raise learners’ awareness of the impact of their everyday household chores on the wider environment and to encourage them to explore and adopt more eco-friendly housecleaning practices. In the process of carrying out a variety of challenging language activities, learners become more informed decision makers when it comes to environmental matters while, at the same time, enhancing and refining their language knowledge.
