In June 2018, Physics teachers from across the province participated in a two- day workshop that highlighted the concepts and competencies prescribed in the DBE program and allowed teachers to conduct the prototype exams. Many teachers expressed interest in reuniting to create a lab manual for PHY- 5061 and PHY- 5062. This will occur over a series of workshops that will take place throughout the 2018- 2019 school year. In this first meeting, teachers will review the concepts and competencies to be developed for each course code and choose a design for the lab manual that is suitable for both the individualized and non- individualized setting.

The first workshop will take place on:
October 5th, 2018 9 – 1 pm at Pearson Electrotechnlogy Centre 5000 Rene Huguet, Lachine
